If, like me, you're interested in the idea of somebody being able to explore historical periods, this is NOT a book for you.

It is much more of an immersive experience than other radio dramas I have listened to and I loved it. But there are gaps in the storyline, the caracters are sketchy at the best, sometimes doing things that are not in line with their previous caracteristics. O’Malley was credited with authorship of the famous phrase, “Life is just one damned thing after another. It's mentioned at one point that she's been in Saint Mary's for 4 years - I honestly thought she'd only just finished her training. Starring Gemma Whelan (SAG nominated, Game of Thrones, Gulliver's Travels), Ben Miles (SAG nominated, The Crown, V for Vendetta), Jonathan Bailey ( Broadchurch, Leonardo, The Mercy) and Zara Ramm (narrator of the original Chronicles of St Mary's audiobooks), this Audible Original production will transport you to iconic moments throughout history, from the Cretaceous period to the destruction of the Great Library at Alexandria. Major Ian Guthrie - Head of Security and whose unenviable task it is to keep St Mary's safe, despite all their best efforts.

Vincent Millay wrote a letter that included an entertaining reaction to the adage: [17] 1972 (Copyright 1952), Letters of Edna St. honestly, the Leon in this dramatisation is so terribly realised that he may as well not even be there! Protagonist who consistently talks about how average she is whilst everyone admires her incessantly? It made me wonder if they just missed each other in the chaos and confusion that they were both taking advantage of. Before listening to the book, I thought it sounded an awful lot like the time traveling series by Connie Willis. I should have started by saying how this is about plucky time travelling historians from a near-future England, who, working in secret, find out what really happened in key historical events by the simple expedient of turning up, taking notes and trying not to get killed. What begins as an academic exploration of events, such as the Peterloo Massacre, takes a dark and dangerous turn, and the historians of St Mary's soon learn that it's not just history they're fighting.
