Description

Swan will authorise an exchange providing the fault is beyond economical repair and the service company have generated a fault reference number to reflect this. The 24-hour timer on this Swan dehumidifier means you can set it to run for as long as you need it and it’s impressively quiet so it won’t disturb you when in use, even whilst you try to sleep. My airer had items like towels, jumpers, trousers and tops so some fabrics took longer to dry than others, but overall I was surprised just how well the dehumidifier worked. The filter (which sits above the bucket at the front) is easy to remove and clean and easy to reinsert.

Upon opening the box I saw the machine had its four wheels already fitted, had an easy-to-remove plastic covering, and even came with the optional drainage pipe - something we’ve not seen from other dehumidifiers. Overall, it's made me realise that there are other ways to dry clothes and hopefully by using my dehumidifier more, I can save money on my energy bills in the long-run. It is a mini appliance but only has a 23 wattage which would mean it would cost just a little over 7p an hour to run. The capacity of this machine is one of its main selling points, with the potential to extract 20 litres of water in one 24-hour sitting.

Although five hours sounds like a long time, it would take a whole day or two for the clothes to dry on an airer without a dehumidifier and it still costs you less than using a tumble dryer. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. After multiple attempts at using this function, I gave up and opted for the normal dehumidifier setting using the power button and adjusting the percentage to 30% humidity. The one thing I learnt quickly too is that the Swan's clothing drying function doesn't work as well as the normal dehumidifier setting. Either way, it would It be distracting if you’re in the same room, especially if trying to work or sleep.

Deliver + Unpack + Remove Waste - we will deliver to your preferred room of choice, unpack the item, remove and recycle all waste/packaging. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. It also comes with a continuous draining function, allowing you to leave it extracting without worrying about overflow. Noise wise it sounds like a fridge running , it does have a quiet mode I can bear it running on the landing not sure about in a bedroom sleeping. A simple touch of a button changes the fan speeds and the swing setting moves the deflector back and forth.Living in Scotland, with nowhere to dry my washing, condensation is still a huge problem in the winter. After a bit of a struggle trying to remove it from the box, all I had to do was plug it in, and off it went. If you have elected to receive a replacement, then a swap out will be arranged at any UK mainland address of your choice.
