About this deal

Deepcool AK620. This was a good contender, but Chinese company with dodgy rep. Still, I probably would have bought their upcoming cooler/redesigned existing line with big LCD screen atop the heat sink, but they've been faffing around for too long now. i never jump head first into a new platform anyway. there is ALWAYS bugs to work out no matter who is making it. let the first couple months go by for BIOS updates, new featurs, fixes and so on rather than being the one who has to suffer all the issues Intel ® Core™ i7-7600U | Seagate 500GB HDD | 16GB DDR4 | Windows 10 Enterprise | HP EliteBook 850 G4 The fans are easy to mount, the metal clips don't require much force to stretch them over to the heatsink I say go for it, you may lose 1-3c but its not that big of a deal. I was running 1 fan on my cooler for a month or so, just to see how it dealt with summer. I have the front fan on right now, but I might take it off since I cant see my ram anymore

While this may be a short amount of time, it is sufficient to push most coolers–air and liquid–to their limits.

Mounting system looks like a breeze too. First off… I love this product. When it fits, It works out great! Just look at those pictures. It looks dope in there. It's so big it's dwarfing a 3 slot 30 cm long graphic card. And the cooler.. Ooh...I was so surprised at how perfectly the color from the case fans match the cooler ARGB fans. If you want to your PC look fly on Cheap and also have it perform good, It's hard to beat this CPU cooler. Installation is simple enough. Lots of people made videos installing this CPU cooler into their machines. I happen to have done this on a AM5 motherboard with a 7800x3d chip. Will definitely be purchasing another to replace the aio in my 8700k build my fiancee uses and will now be my go-to to referring anyone wanting an air cooler. Awesome. I used Arctic MX-6, however this cooler comes with it's own tube of thermal paste. I wasn't expecting much quality for the fans for the low price but the included fans are crazy good, almost Noctua level for air / low noise. I don't have any results from the Freezer 34 DUO, But with the PA120, I'm in the top 3-7 for the 5600x I was trying to find the differences between these two CPU coolers. The PA120 (non-SE) seems to be an earlier variant and 2mm (157mm) taller that the PA120 SE version (155mm).

I'll be testing Thermalright’s Peerless Assassin 120 SE with Intel's Core i9-12900K. Due to the increased thermal density of the Intel 7 manufacturing process, as well as changes to core and component layouts, Alder Lake CPUs are more difficult to cool than previous generation CPUs in the most heat-intensive of workloads. Pretty sure Deepcool already has Assassin-named coolers (3 generations of them, no less). Guess the names aren't trademarked.

Displayed below are comprehensive data and graphs that compare the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 to the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE,
