About this deal

A really nice scent. This perfume is very underrated. It smells like the warm hills of Italy near Lago di Garda. I love this scent, this is the kind of fragrances I more enjoy. Is a clean, citrus, herbal and woody scent. It has a classic style, but is very nice and very male. I wore it at the time and it was fantastic for its outfit for an eau de toilette, very original with a lemon that stood out with its contemporaries. Experience the Irresistible Armani Sì Passione. More than just a fragrance; this is a powerful reinvention of the iconic Armani scent, embodying an irresistible combination of grace, strength, and independent spirit. Giorgio Armani himself describes it as a perfume that encapsulates the essence of a confident woman who dares to say yes to life's adventures. i was visiting states when my uncle called me from india and asked me to get this bottle for him as he use to wear the old version and someone recently wearing this reminded him of his good old days.

What I get from Armani Eau Pour Homme (1984) is a polite mixture of 3/4 Dior Eau Sauvage and 1/4 Azzaro Pour Homme. There's a lemon-like opening, and a pleasant dry down that offers a refreshing antidote to the incense-heavy orientals and musky fougeres of the 80s. Smells like green lemon. not too strong, but does last a while. a perfect scent for office wear I think, and most definitely I think for the summer or spring, or a warm climate. Having so many strong scents, I wanted one like this. Giorgio Armani's worth mentioning creation is Eau pour Homme Eau de Toilette. The year of production is 1984 since it makes it an unmissable proposal from the 1980s. A quantity of essential oils close to 10% is the salient feature that hides behind the impalpable cloud characteristic of the eau de toilette. For Those Who Love Citrus

The following scents have been used in its realization: the delicately refreshing and sour aroma of bergamot, the fresh and decisive basil, the acidic and fresh personality of lemon and green orange. In the heart, we recognize the note of carnation, a flower with a spicy profile that evokes clove, lavender, nutmeg, acrid but pleasant, and the queen of floral notes, the rose. Finally, from the base are released: cedar wood, with its references to freshly cut wood, the sensuality of Moschus, the woodland inspiration typical of oak moss and sandalwood, the precious wood that gives structure to the composition. Thanks to the aromatic accord, naturalness mixed with freshness is recognized. Giorgio Armani Eau Pour Homme Eau de Toilette: Best Price UK

I think this fragrance it will be a must have always in my closet, because in my opinion this is the scent for a man. Maybe the light in the store ruined the tester fragrance, as it did smell a little off. Considering the tester couldn't be older than a couple of months, I'd recommend you keep this in a cool dark place just to be sure. I read from the Now Smell This bloggers that there's hardly any difference between the old and the new. So, I was surprised that to my nose, there really is a great big difference. The old one is heavy laden with citrus while the new one leans more towards the spice. I mean, it's not bad...just different. VERY different yet familiar, it should have been given a flanker name. I must admit i had the opportunity to smell the original and was thankful they had not overdosed on inovation. I remember the old one being very musky and sweet but I prefer the newer. I'm 33 and I think this is one of the best old school citrus fragrances suitable for modern times since the blend of citrus, oakmoss and spices is perfectly balanced. I'd actually vote it above Dior's Eau Sauvage which is considered by many as the king in this genre. To my nose this smells "more natural" than Eau Sauvage. The oak moss is subdued here so it doesn't smell too dated but it's definitely present. This fragrance opens with zesty basil notes which gives it its classic freshness. Then it gradually transforms into a heavy patchouli and sandlewood base which lasts 4 to 5 hours in a fall or winter season. What a bergamot splash in the opening. It develops nicely - oakmoss and mandarin orange spiced up by a little bit of cloves, basil ans nutmeg. Update 2: It doesn't evolve much. It's pretty linear, and what you get at the top is pretty much the whole scent, mandarin orange being dominant. New Eau Pour Homme apparently did not change much. The bottle design is updated and the composition is adapted with ingredients that are available today. The top is ruled by fresh citruses like bergamot and mandarin, along with aromatic basil. The heart of clove, lily and nutmeg is laid on the base of patchouli, oak moss and sandalwood.

To me, the scent itself represents manliness better than any frangrances. Really. Unfortunately, so weak. What a pity, a colossus with feet of clay. I didn't have a chance to smell Eau Pour Homme from '84 unfortunately. But this is (IMO) currently the best fragrance from Armani's "mainstream" lineup. I smellt it before, but it was warmer weather and I could smell patchouli after the citrus green opening.Guerlain has plenty of classic citrus scents - Eau de Cologne Imperiale, Eau de Guerlain, Aqua Allegoria Limon Verde, and the now discontinued Aqua Allegoria Lemon Fresca, to name a few. The first thing that I thought of when I first sprayed this was grass. I get a lot of green herb notes i.e. the basil however in the opening there is citrus and a sharp lemon note which makes this very bright and fresh. The opening is very strong but in a confident bold way. Pretty close to the original I think, and I love this one too. One of the few 80's powerhouse fragrances that has in my opinion stood the test of time. Maybe because it is a little lighter than some of the others. I do understand that some people think it is an older mans scent as it probably is. It is so well made a real classic from Armani.
