About this deal
A very good combination of modern and classic in an (un)unique way. Givenchy Gentleman EdT Intense almost directly copies Dior Homme Eau while also using the sweet -cold axis that is almost identical to one in Xeryus Rouge. Conclusion: cold, sweet, airy and fresh in an non-citrus way. For the colder days and warmer nights and all occasions. Job well done. Givenchy Gentleman EdT Intense deserves more attention and mentioning. As I kind of think about it, Givenchy Gentleman EdT Intense is a bit more "succulent" than Dior Homme Eau and I absolutely support this idea, even though I never was a fan of DHE. For those who never tried DHE, this Givenchy flanker is a must try.
It’s not a bad scent, it’s just that I was hoping for something similar to DHE, and the only thing this one has in common is the color of the juice.Gentleman Intense is an aromatic-floral and woody fragrance that brings a touch of freshness and powder to the collection, and represents a balance between tenderness, sensuality and intensity. The composition is a contrast of delicate floral notes and powerful woods. The iconic 1974 men’s fragrance Givenchy Gentleman received a new, modernized reinterpretation with Gentleman Givenchyin 2017, showing what this fragrance would have looked like if it had been made today. because it was repeatedly compared to Dior Homme Eau (which is one of my absolutely favorite scents). Green, aromatic and spicy notes lead to a heart of gentle blue iris, with woody and warm, resinous tones. The creation is signed by perfumers from the house of Firmenich; Olivier Cresp and Nathalie Lorson. The Gentleman Givenchy collection is now expanded with the new Eau de Toilette Intense edition (early 2021), which "redefines seduction with a natural elegance and crystallizes the very essence of a gentleman."
