To ensure your boiling water tap is providing peak performance and to maintain the requirements of your warranty, it's essential your tap filters are changed every six months. The increased amount of selective ion-exchange Aqualen fibers contributes to the filter’s high sediment- holding capacity and allows it to effectively remove colloidal and dissolved iron.

In the north and west of the UK the water is naturally soft, wheras, in the south and east it is naturally hard. If you want more than 1 stage filtration, we recommend to take a look at the Crystal H Water System or the Quadro Filter Head.Removing unwanted minerals and chemicals from the water will prevent limescale, erosion and provide better-tasting tap water for you and your family. When it is time to change your filter, the screen on your boiler tank will display an indicator to remind you.

The filter includes a hose lock adaptor and comes pre-filled with approximately 160g of Polyphosphate crystals, which lasts for up to 30,000 litres. Depending on the type of filter media contained by these filters, they either remove manganese and iron, or prevent limescale deposits by transforming calcium ions into calcium crystals.
