Invectus is the best one, exact smell of allure homme sport but more sillage and longivity and less sweet. The Invictus EDT comes in a sleek and modern bottle that is designed to evoke the image of a trophy. It opens with that horrible, synthetic, not at all convincing grapefruit note I have smelled way too often in modern mainstream perfumery (Hermes Eau de Pamplemousse Rose gets grapefruit right - this one doesn't), and closes with an equally annoying marine scent that sours on me very quickly. The only bad thing is the synthetic opening that lasts about 30 minutes and sometimes could be a headache inducer. Super balanced, it's a sweet fresh fragrance and this dammed this lasts all day on skin and forever on clothes.

Kinda basic, synthetic, crowd-pleasing, hyper-masculine, sweet-fresh men's fragrance with a metallic edge. An undeniably good smelling green, fresh, sweet, and sporty scent with some inviting characteristics that is well suited as an everyday fragrance imho and while there are links to the Bad Boy Cobalt it has differentiated itself a lot more to me over time. It’s a fragrance that uplifts my mood a bit because I know I smell damn good and I also just enjoy smelling it. I LOVE Invictus but the performance and longevity on the newer batches is TERRIBLE; the scent is toned down to the point that it becomes pointless; I have a 2014 bottle that is a beautifully vibrant, energetic, endurance BEAST!

I don't think there's anything here we haven't sniffed before (I mainly review female perfumes, but even I feel like I've "been here, done that" with this one) , but it's easy to get along with. I wanted to hate this cologne, because it’s paco rabanne invictus, but I really had a great experience of wearing it.For a fragrance to be work-appropriate, it must be subtle and non-cloying, which counts out heavy Eau de Parfum. The base notes of oakmoss, ambergris, and leather give the fragrance a warm and masculine finish, making it perfect for any confident man. This is so often cited as influential or trend setting, but to me it smells kind of like a sport flanker of Eros, which came before it. Invictus is an unexpected clash of worlds, powers, sensations, and values: a thrill of pure freshness.
