Get to know the staff, learn the history of some of the most unique and exciting traditions at Katmere, and discover which Court you would belong to. Like the other novels, it is very repetitive in many parts from the inner monologues to the amount of times pop tarts and Dr. It was incredibly boring especially since we learn nothing new for the original series, and we already know they will defeat the bad guys.

Girl you know I’m here for the romance because I’m sure as shit not here for the plot, and all you give me are crumbles? The story alternates between the POVs of Hudson and Grace, so I liked that readers got to see both sides of the story.I already told you I’m a vampire, not a devil—though I suppose you could be forgiven for confusing the two, since you know my wayward little brother.

Chronicling the four missing months between Crave and Crush, fans will finally get answers to all of their burning questions about Grace and Hudson’s love story. And, of course, enjoy numerous deleted scenes and outrageous outtakes from your favorite characters’ POVs, giving readers insights into Crave series lore not found anywhere else. For all the fans of this series, this was a really anticipated book and the hype created for this was real, but the actual book fell flat. I stayed up all night reading this book and when my husband woke up, he caught me crying while I finished it. Hudson working at the school as a third grade teacher is the most adorable thing on the fooking planet.I was looking forward to seeing how Grace and Hudson fell in love the first time but meh, it’s a hard pass for me. Even if that isn't the case (which I admit it may be), she thought he was, or at least had only known him for TWO WEEKS. This book had the priviliage of sassy and sarcastic HUDSON VEGA and I didn't know I needed his jokes and british accent Lol.

If you’re anything like us here at BookScouter HQ, at close to the half-way point this October (AKA 🎃Halloween Month), we’re always on the lookout for our next spooky-season must-read. But I was anticipating this book release for way too long and the author had delayed its release too many times. As much as I loved it, I think it should've been shorter, and I don't think that it exactly fits as a fifth book in the series. Hudson Vega is my mate, and I will fight for him with every ounce of strength I have in my body and my soul. Grace is trying to figure out Hudson and, of course, figures out that he is not the bad guy his reputation says he is.It wasn't just cuteness and them falling in love, but Grace also learned how to be a gargoyle (which is kinda funny and sad when you think that she had to do it all over again because she didn't remember) and there was a world saving adventure too, naturally. Obviously I can’t say too much about this book cause spoilers but I will say spending those four months with my baby Hudson made me love this series even more, which I was pretty sure was impossible.

Readers will find themselves easily transported to a place where magic and risk lurk around every corner. And don’t get me started on how the villain just told the MCs all his plans because he just had to gush about his success, of course it wasn’t done so the author could give the MCs some help. Though Grace is very much human, her development shares common threads with the likes of Percy Jackson, Katniss Everdeen and Harry Potter, pleasingly more than those she shares with the likes of Bella Swann. In the end, Grace and Hudson finally come back to the lair after getting hit by a time arrow (whatever that shit is) and Hudson looks at his watch and tells Grace that only four months have passed in the real world. Just plain Grace and Hudson bickering over random shit like a bunch of teens (oh wait there are teens 🙄) Grace thinks Hudson is responsible for trapping them but then she reads his journals and suddenly she realizes he’s not the bad guy.

To sum it up, it’s a clusterfuck of randomness when it comes to the world-building, and their relationship fades into background noise which is the complete opposite of what I wanted. She arrives as an unhappy self-described ‘mortal among gods’, namely vampires, witches, and werewolves.
